Patience is definitely a virtue with blogging, to get through those first couple of months or so until Google decides you're going to stick around.

Wordpress has a neat plugin for restricting Adsense context to just the text of your post, so it ignores all the sidebar text, to make it easier to get relevant ads. (Just one more reason to switch!)
they still say I have no inbound link
Well, you know you have over one hundred inbound links from this blog that are full follow links. Google will catch up before too long.

I think Google is having as much difficulty determining my keywords as I am. They still have the Public Service Announcement about Hurricane Katrina as my context-sensitive ad.

Google is helping me have an identity crisis. That, and the 'sandbox' effects - they still say I have no inbound link, are making it hard to feel the love from Google. Pagerank of zero isn't helping, either.

I used Google on one of my blogs a while back and it didn't really bring me the results that I was hoping for. I then switched to Adbrite and got no realated ads, links in my post, and a page that kept popping up. I then switched to nothing at all because of this. I then found a better way of doing this and it was to add the ads at the bottom of the post. It does look a little bit trashy but it got clicks. I then took it back off, for personal reasons.
